Yes' date=' I told you all. May as well hand the trophy over to England. India or Sri Lanka have no chance.[/quote'] Why sudden love for ODIs? Different coaches, new strategies, etc. :giggle: seems to have given up on becoming the #1 test team then. After Windies only Aussies can dominate the world in test cricket like that. The rest are just come and go number ones :hysterical:

We'll win the lot. The ICC trophy, the ODI world cup, the test world championship and the world 20/20.

Pyjama cricket *is* the real cricket. It earns its existence through way higher ratings than cricket in whites, along with way more revenue. Your so-called 18th century English pastoral elitist persuit called Test cricket exists because pyjama cricket allows it to do so. It is as dead as any sport can be and in 20 years time, even people with 20 year careers wont have more than 100-120 tests in their resume.

All the top players enjoy test cricket the most. And to make money it's 20/20. Forget ODI cricket.

ODI cricket may or may not die, but test cricket is not real cricket. Test cricket is sham elitism, there is no point in calling something 'real/most challenging' when it cant even pay professionals enough to stay interested in it. Players pay lip service to test cricket. Nothing more. A form of sport (test cricket) that depends on another form ( limited overs) to pay for itself, is fundamentally contradictory to the idea of 'competetive'.

No sir, tests cricket is the real cricket. Even ask Aussies who have always been the usually the best at cricket and they say the same. It's only the subcontinent who disregards test cricket and that's because they're not good at it. Pakistan is the only subcontinent team that has done fairly well. ODI cricket over here in the UK is called **** and giggles cricket. It's okay for a few beers and a laugh. Nobody really cares though. Test cricket though, that matters a lot. I'd get up at 5:00am to watch England play a test in India. ODI cricket I couldn't care less. England beat Pakistan 4-0 in the ODI series and I didn't know untill a few months later. The 3-0 series defeat in tests I knew to well.

Sorry, that is nothing more than institutionalized BS. Real cricket is the one that players have to compete the hardest against each other to make the team and it is incentivized by money. That would be ODI cricket, which players care a lot more about because it is where the incentive and thus, the competition is at. Professionals compete the hardest against and with each other when the incentive is the greatest. Nobody really cares for a form of sport that takes 5x longer to play and pays 1/5th as much as the most competetive form (limited overs cricket).

Nobody cares what England and English fans think of cricket. You lot are less than 5% of the fanbase and less than 7% of the income. Cricket is what India says it is. Pure and simple. Without our help your precious ECB wouldnt even be able to afford leasing/owning the county circuit grounds it does.

India is irrelevant at test cricket. They try desperately to be part of the old boys club between England and Aus and yet repeatedly get their ass whipped when they travel away. We only care about India in 20/20's.

:haha::haha: How are we irrelevant, when your existence as Test nations is dependent on our financial mercies ? The one who writes your paycheque is the most important one, not irrelevant. Or have they stopped teaching business basics to the Brits ? Maybe thats why you guys suck at job creation too ? As for getting whipped, we are far better against the Aussies over the last 15 years than you wannabes are. As for the bolded part, you care about India on whatever BCCI commands you to care for. ECB = our financial slaves.

You are minnows cricket at test level. Even Sri Lanka has a better win/loss ratio. Just accept you're England's ***** at test cricket. Over twice as many wins in tests for England v India. This really is an unfair one sided contest. Maybe whenever India tours England we should offer them three innings just to make the games competitive.

http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/series/258452.html http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/series/60731.html England could not beat India 2 out of last 3 series in England. Know the history you di**head :finger:

logic has gone out the door with pommies ever since there has been a slight upward curve in their fortunes in the past couple of years' date=' and that too with the help of United Nations :cantstop:[/quote'] Lot of teams had to go through transition. They started chest thumping they will be no.1 side for next 10 years. South Africa put away this pretenders like yesterday's garbage in a matter of months. :giggle:
