I am pretty sure the young guys are giving 100% but it is clear to all (maybe not to you) that the captain and the management is least interested and want these series to be over as soon as possible. They are just going through the motions and the team looks beaten even before taking the field. This is nothing to do with over-rating, a fighting loss will never be blamed. But here people are able to predict wrong team picks even before the match begins. No accountability, no questions, just going through the motions. This will turn off even hard core fans. The fact that they looked brilliant in patches was because of individual performances of Kohli, Pujara, etc. The team itself looks dead and buried

Don't know how decide that they are going through the motions on TV?facial expressions?lack of clapping/shouting? They have wrong strategies/tactics is agreeable but lack of trying? same team 'looks' charged up,interested in home matches/when they are winning,how come? Even fighting loss is difficult consistently.We did have a fighting draw in SA which infact we dominated for most part.

Ishant getting 6wkts is a nightmare for future of indian cricket. The long rope will extend to another 6yrs for him. No one will look how many runs nz scored and what little impact his bowling had on this match. The worst days are here to stay!

It's sad when you compare Australia's bowling to India's. The Aussie bowling attack has Johnson, Harris, Siddle and Lyon atm and waiting in the wings are Pattinson, Starc, Cummins, Bird, Bollinger, Hilfenhaus, Faulkner, Coulter-Nile, Hazelwood and several others young bowlers coming through the state tournament as well. Even in the spin department, Nathan Lyon is getting better every game and is arguably the best spinner in the world atm on current form. India on the other hand seem to be recycling the same set of bowlers ... an over-the-hill Zaheer, a perennially unthreatening Ishant, and a group of inconsistent young quicks. Yes they've all shown glimpses of brilliance, but lack the consistency. The selection is obviously bad but it's not like the up and coming bowlers are standing up and grabbing their chances and making a statement like what Pujara and Kohli have done so far with the bat.
