StriKe Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Since there is no DRS..will keep a count how many errors occurs. 13.6 BAW Mendis to Charles, no run, Mendis is disgusted that another lbw appeal has been turned down, this flighted ball pitched full and turned in, probably doing too much, hit him in front of middle, ball tracker has it hitting leg Not given out.. 33.4 Kulasekara to Pollard, OUT, Kula's got an lbw appeal ruled in his favour, far closer ones have been turned down today, the tall Pollard was on the walk, and was hit above the knee roll, he cannot believe it, replays show Pollard was also struck outside the line of off, what a howling howler from Pollard's fellow Trinidadian Joel Wilson Worst decision
StriKe Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 36.1 I Sharma to Sammy, no run, goes after a full and wide ball moving away a bit and is beaten, keeper and bowler put in an appeal for caught behind, there is a clear sound as ball passes bat Should have given out...wish we had DRS :((
saneindian Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Ishant denied a wicket there :(( 3/50 would have been another match winning effort :((

StriKe Posted July 5, 2013 Author Posted July 5, 2013 35.1 Best to Karthik, OUT, and a wicket with the first ball of the Powerplay. Dug in short, down the leg side, Ramdin collects after Karthik tries to pull. Ramdin hardly appeals, but Best does heartily, and it is given. Karthik is not happy, and it doesn't seem to have hit the glove. There is a clear case for show of dissent. Even Kohli looks very angry
StriKe Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 2.2 Kumar to Sangakkara, OUT, Bhuvneshwar on a hat-trick. Sanga seems to have got a shocker. He is not pleased with this one. This is short of a length, and has hit him over the knee roll on the back pad. Also there is a doubt whether it pitched within the stumps. Waiting for the replay now. Replays confirm my doubts: pitched outside leg, and bouncing over the stumps
StriKe Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 10.3 Kumar to Chandimal, no run, the inside edge? No it is seaming too much, according to the umpire. It looks dead plumb live time. Seaming in from short of a length, staying low, hitting him in front of middle and leg, but for some reason BK's appeal is soft, and he doesn't get the decision. This looked plumber, much plumber, than Sanga's call
