special K Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 England has 10 tests against a terrible Australian team. It's possible we could win all 10? Then next year we have minnows India in a 5 test series. India is terrified of England and I could see England whitewashing India once again.
Sundar88 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Who cares? We already won the world cup, Champions Trophy and are the undisputed kings of ODI cricket. As it stands now India is second only to Australia in terms of ICC title wins, England are still way behind and even in test Cricket India were no.1 for nearly two years where as England were no.1 for about a year before they lost it at their own backyard unlike India who lost it away. If anything England are the minnows, which is why ICC is letting them host the first World Test Championship despite the fact that they just hosted the Champions Trophy and are due to host the world cup in 2019, in order to help them win more ICC silverware.
Captain of Bhangra Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Unfortunately, I expect England to win all 3 Test series comfortably. Maybe even whitewash 1 or 2 of them. The question is, if India are scared, why are they playing 5 tests instead of the usual 4?...

philcric Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I won't be too surprised if Aussies win this Ashes in England. A good pace attack and you are always in with a chance.
GodAnderson Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Pretty much. England will thrash both the teams. They don't have quality players. I want Sachin in the side, it's fun watching him bat when Jimmy bowls.
Muloghonto Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 nobody cares about the Ashes. We will see where India vs England stand next year - too early to tell.
GodAnderson Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 nobody cares about the Ashes. We will see where India vs England stand next year - too early to tell. Another 4 - 0 thrashing. That's where India stands. Quality ODI unit but pathetic Test side.
Muloghonto Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Another 4 - 0 thrashing. That's where India stands. Quality ODI unit but pathetic Test side. better record against #1 ranked side since 1999 than England. :haha::haha: We've held parity with you guys for better part of 2 decades in your own backyard. Last time was an anomaly, normal service of us tooling the English should resume.
Muloghonto Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Keep living in denial folks. Keeping living in momentary glory, Englishmen. We crushed you for 20+ years. we've won 3 series in your backyard in the last 30 years, you guys won your first one in 37 years at our home. Normal service will resume next time we are over. 2011 was a blip- we were too busy celebrating and winning at real cricket (limited overs cricket) to give a toss about boring old-time cricket that cricketers play for fun, not money.
StriKe Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Keep living in denial folks. You lost to Pakistan 3-0 (2011/12) and South Africa 2-0 (2012) :hehe:
The Outsider Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 England are a really good test side, much better than India. If not 15-0, 9-3 is quite possible.
