Aveg speed/Top speed vs SA - 140.7 /147.2 vs WI - 141.5 147.7 vs Pak - 136.8/143.9 vs SL - 137.8/ 142 vs Eng - 139.1/141.7 Leaked too many runs in the 1st two games trying to go all out. Controlled it for the next 3 and got good results. If he wants he can still bowl quicker. let him be more confident on his ODI bowling and you will see him bowling 140+ regularly.

He consistently bowled at good pace and had a brilliant line against the Aussies which gave him rewards. Was horrible against Windies. Had an utter poor length throughout the game.
adi B Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 yadav`s main problem is he slips in a couple of short deliveries frequently (waist heigh) which gets smacked to the boundaries on such pitches..either bowl full throttle bouncers or dont bowl short at all..yadav aint got confidence to bowl yorker,when he tries to bowl one,it either slips down to the pads or end up being full length delivery..but he`ll defo learn kohli should bowl bhuvi in the death as well which dhoni didnt.. ishant should be dropped,shami should play,the bowlers do look tired tbh,they are continuously playing for 3 months thats why they look tired and jaded with speed also down

sekhar Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 shami has a great yorker too...he bowled two terrific inswinging yorkers against SRH,(in which he got the wicket of thisara perera)..if he can add a good slow delivery too his armoury, he can be handy at the death..umesh,bk,shami should be our bowling attack .
