Gunner Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 As the title suggests, this thread is for discussing the pace and performance of Indian, West Indian and Lankan fast bowlers in the ongoing Tri-Series. I expect Tino Best to be the fastest bowler followed by Umesh Yadav. Hopefully some of the pitches are bowler-friendly, and the 150k mark is crossed a few times.
Gunner Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 Disappointed that Shami Ahmed is not playing today. He should've been in instead of Ishant.
Gunner Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 Fastest from Tino until now 148k. But he's been all over the place.
Gunner Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 Good opening spell by Yadav, got the ball to swing when Bhuvan wasn't getting any.
jusarrived Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Umesh has been bowling smarter in the last 2-3 matches . He tries to bowl full pace only in the second spell and when there are no field restrictions
vishalvirsingh Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 If he bowls fast n same line n length he iS sure to get atleast 4 guys out
Gunner Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 143.4 ks from Umi Sharp and well directed bouncer.
vishalvirsingh Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 BK is bowling 135 to 138 K a few baLls faster than he bowls normally... Umesh 139.4 138.6 139.1 wide 128K slow bouncer 135K 138K 137K
vishalvirsingh Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 137k bouncer looked at least 145K... Charles sat and avoided playing it......
Malcolm Merlyn Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 They are all down on pace.Pathetic from Indians.
MCcricket Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 All Indian bowlers are trundling , and Ishant is pathetic
express bowling Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Pace isn't the way to go on this wicket. This is a pitch with uneven pace and bounce. Pace is the exact way to go about on this pitch. Some deliveries will hurry through and some will stop after travelling really quickly in the air, fooling the batsmen.
express bowling Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Bhuvaneshwar's fastest I have seen today is. 139.6 k
Gunner Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 Poor death bowling from Indian bowlers. Feeding length balls to tailenders instead of attempting yorkers.
