Just like your senior team has been wanting revenge since 1992.....they said we will take revenge in WC1999...then postponed to WC2003.....then postponed to 2007T20 WC final.....then postponed to WC2011...currently project REVENGE slated for WC2015. TAREEKH PE TAREEKH. Not to forget revenge in between for T20 Worldcup and champions trophy and Asia cup losses to SENIOR TEAM And so not dream is inheirted " We will take revenge " one day dream ;) :hysterical:

Zol's ton takes India U-19 to 333/2 on Day 1 vs SL colts

Dambulla: Skipper Vijay Zol continued with his brilliant form as his unbeaten century helped India reach a commanding 333 for two against Sri Lanka at stumps on the opening day of the first U-19 Youth 'Test' match, here Tuesday. Sri Lankan captain Kusal Mendis's decision to field backfired badly as Zol (129 batting) along with Sanju Samson (74 batting) added 169 runs for the unbroken third-wicket stand after openers Shubham Khajuria (52) and Akhil Herwardkar (71) provided a solid start with 79-run opening stand. The second-wicket partnership between Zol and Herwadkar was also fruitful one which yielded 85 runs. Left-handed Zol, who has been a star performer at the colts level, started from where he had left during the recently concluded tri-series in Australia as he faced 213 balls hitting 14 fours and a six. He was in a mood to punish the spinners using his feet to perfection. IPL star Samson also got his first significant score at this level after a moderate tour Down Under. Samson had 11 hits to the fence en route his 147-ball knock. It was Jammu-boy Khajuria who started attacking the bowlers from the word go as he smashed 10 boundaries in his 61-ball knock but was the only batsman to be dismissed in the first session. It was left-arm spinner Lakshan Jayasinghe who dismissed Khajuria caught by Sadira Samarawickrama. The only wicket that fell in the second session was of left-handed Herwadkar who tried to cut an off-break from Ramesh Mendis only to edge it to Kusal behind the stumps. Herwadkar faced 125 deliveries and hit nine fours in the process. Sri Lanka A lose early wicket after Indian onslaught

Sri Lanka Under-19 were trailing by 479 runs with nine wickets in hand in the first innings at stumps on Day 2 against India Under 19 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. The Vijay Zol-led India U19 side added 170 to their overnight score, before declaring their first innings for 503/7 on a rain and bad light-affected second day of the first four-day game. Sanju Samson, who was unbeaten on 74 along with the skipper when play resumed today, was the first to depart for 89. Meanwhile, Zol posted 173. Both the batters departed after edging pacer Chamika Karunaratne to the ‘keeper earlier in the day. Shreyas Iyer, who had replaced Samson in the middle, helped strengthen the visitors’ position, before being removed for 65. The rest of the lower order also contributed vital runs to the total, until India declared their innings and asked SL U19 to bat with a mountainous score behind them. The Indian colts then dealt an early blow by claiming opener and SL captain Kusal Mendis for six. Atul Singh trapped Mendis leg-before to stamp India’s domination, until bad light interrupted play. When play was called off, SL U19 were 24 for one with Hashan Dumindu and Kavindu Kulasekara at the crease. 1st Test: DAY 3 - Report:

In the ongoing four-day match against India Under-19, Sri Lanka Under-19 were trailing by 268 runs with five wickets in hand in the first innings when stumps were called the third day. Even as inclement weather stalled play at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, the SL colts added 211 runs to their overnight score, courtesy Kavindu Kulasekara’s patient knock. The No.3 bat, who was unbeaten on five at the end of second day’s play, anchored the innings on Thursday to remain unbeaten on 76; he had faced 264 balls by the time play ended. After opener Hashan Dumindu was the first wicket to fall today for 42, Kulasekara was ably supported Minod Bhanuka, who made 56. Bhanuka’s stay at the crease was eventually ended by Kuldeep Yadav, who claimed all the four SL wickets that fell on the third day. When play was called off, SL U19 were 235 for five, with Kulasekara and Ramesh Mendis at the crease. SL colts pull off thrilling draw

Sri Lanka Under-19 pulled off a draw against India Under-19 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium final day, after being asked to follow-on in the first of the two four-day matches of the series. Sri Lanka were trailing by 268 runs with five wickets in hand in the first innings at the end of third day’s play. They were then bowled out, after adding just 21 runs on the fourth morning. Ramesh Mendis and Kavindu Kulasekara returned without adding to their overnight total, dismissed by Atul Singh in the second over of the day. Sniffing a victory, the Indian colts enforced follow-on. However, the hosts rallied on to finish the game on 264 for the loss of nine wickets in the second innings with a 17-run lead to deny the visitors a win. Earlier, Atul Singh and Chama Milind polished off the rest of the SL line-up in the morning to bowl the home team out for 256 in the first innings. Following on, SL lost both their openers before lunch and were 50 for loss of two at the end of the first session. Sadeera Samarawickrama kept the hosts afloat with a valiant 181-ball 88 and was ably supported by Thilaksha Sumanasiri (62). Although the Vijay Zol-led team picked wickets at regular intervals, they were unable to wrap up the opposition in time. Milind, Singh, Kuldeep Yadav and Shreyas Iyer picked two wickets each during the hosts’ second innings, while Aamir Gani took one.
