Virtual Quadrangular ODI Tournament-Pick the stronger squad

Hi Going by all the debates here about all time XI's and G-O-A-T,Its inconclusive to pick a team,so I tried to pick 3 teams and distribute them as evenly as possible-which team do you would emerge the winner? Mods Merge with the All time thread if you want to,but just curious to see what ICFr's think Now let us start with finishers as that seems to be the Hot Topic so here is my distribution Finishers Dhoni,Bevan,Hussey Now since DHoni will be the keeper and already part of one of the teams here are my remaining Keepers Gilchrist,Boucher Now since Gilly will open for one of the teams and I wanted a L-R combo going at the top here are my other 2 Leftie openers Jayasuriya,Ganguly Now Since we have one ODI specialist(Sanath is probably the best of this group when it comes to tests) who is little inconsistent but more than a part-timer but just below a full fledged A.R here are my other 2 impact players Impact Players Yuvraj,..........drumroll.......ready to face your abuses.............Boom Boom Lala Afridi(Say what you want there is no denying that he has the stats to show it and he is def more than a decent LOI player) Ok Now for more genuine A.R -A seam bowling A.R for all conditions Fast bowling Allrounders Kluesner,Kapil,Cairns We already have Dhoni Captaining one team so who will be the other 2 captains? Captains Ponting,S.Waugh ODI is all about skill at the same time line and length,so my 2-Yes 2 because it is not fair to club Kapil in the category of the other 2 that I have going there with due respect to them as he is more accomplished out of the 3- SO my remaining 2 economical+Skill bowlers Wasim,Mcgrath Now we have 3 bowlers who in their prime are difficult to get away and attacking at the same time,so I need someone Phaaast to shake things up and rattle the opposition-so my 3 are Phaast bowlers Donald,Shoaib and Waqar The 3 spinners-Probably the easiest to pick here Saqlain,Warne,Murali So we have the Leftie Openers,so who would partner them,One name is obvious but my list is Right handed openers SRT,M.Waugh,D.Haynes Now No3 is most vital position in a ODI- We already have Punter in the captain slot,so who would my other 2, No 3's King Viv,D.Jones That leaves us with 6 M.O slots to fill Now I would love these 6 M.O players to bring in a unique aspect to the game apart from their stroke play so my remaining 6 would be M.O+Extra Skills A.B.Devilliers(can be a back up keeper) Jonty(Should just be in an all-time squad just for revolutionizing the art of fielding) Martin Crowe(Can bring in his expertise and innovation,Tempted to make him captain but I will club him in Ponting's team as he seems to be the least strongest of the 3 cappos when it comes to out of box thinking) Symonds(Probably the most underrated cog of the Aussie Juggernaut during 03-07 period-Breath taking fielder and can chip in with a few overs) Kallis(One of the greatest A.R to play the game,Has to make it somewhere) Lara(No Top XI is complete without this name don't you think) Now comes the tough part of putting the pieces together SO here are my 3 teams Team A SRT Jayasuriya Ponting© Crowe Bevan Kallis Boucher(K) Kluesner Saqlain Mcgrath Waqar Team B Haynes Gilchrist(K) Jones Mike Hussey S.Waugh© Jonty Yuvraj Cairns Wasim Warne Shoaib Team C M.Waugh Ganguly Viv Lara AB Symonds Dhoni©(k) Kapil Afridi Murali Donald SO try 3 things here- Which squad would win if they played a triangular? Try to rearrange the squads to make them even :icflove: and last but not the least try picking a squad Team D which can compete with these teams-I am sure I missed out on a lot of names-So try picking 11 players not featured in any of the squads :two_thumbs_up:
