deathmonger Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 DAFUQ?!?!?! India just toured England and Australia. How are they getting another tour already ... badmaash ICC :headshake: $$$$$$$$$:finger:
Trundler27 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 This is a brutal schedule.... Our test team is not as good as everyone might think after hammering the aussies at home.... In case we compete well, this is the type of schedule that creates batting legends (if they are good enough to survive tours like saf, eng, nz, and aus). Perhaps we can establish a decent bowling attack thru this all as well. So by the time the 2015 world cup comes around we will definitely have separated the men from the boyz in our batting line-up which is a good sign.... Our vastly improved fielding is now a huge advantage too (can't believe i would ever say that having watched our team in the 90s).

The ones who come out of this with good records will go on to become ATGs.
G_B_ Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Its not necessary that people will perform every tournament/series. Clearly with this amount of cricket most players will have some big series and some quiet series.
G_B_ Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Yeah almost like a black box u put your team through that rigour and out pop your answers :) exciting times indeed. SA-eng-aus all away test series - and WC2015 how big can it get right and that's why talent spotting and backing assumes prime importance got 18 months or so and one big F-UP and there's no going back yes the drama and what have u stuff right here. the problem with such a schedule is that if you lose once it can turn into a landslide of losses.
G_B_ Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 True that's how these things go isn't it - right now get the feeling a lot of it is still in flux things would begin to get clearer during/post SA series one would think. An away series with a few comebacks a few people going out yes. We still have a lot of inexpirience in our test team Dhavan (never played international cricket in SA 1 test match) Vijay (16 tests, poor away form , was in squad for SA in 2011) Pujara ( 13 tests, has toured SA once and did not make most of it but has experience and talent) Sachin (huge experience but out of form) Kohli (18 test, never played test cricket in SA) Rohit/Rayadu/Rahane/Sir Jadeja (low experience + never played test cricket in SA) Dhoni (has expirience but not the best record in SA) Ashwin (16 tests , never played test cricket in SA) Bhuvi (4 test matches low experience in SA) Umesh (9 tests, low on experience) Ishant (plenty of expirience but proven international test cricket failure) So out of the 11 that might take the field 6 have never played international test cricket in SA. 9 of out starting 11 have played less than 20 test matches. That is a highly experimental side we are sending out to SA. Gambhir, Sehwag, Dravid, Sachin, Laxman, Pujara/Raina, Dhoni, Zaheer, Bhajji, Ishant, Sree/Unadkat Huge change from out current test squad

Iconoclast Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 $$$$$$$$$:finger: $$$$$$$$$$$$ = 0 - 8 or maybe even more this time around :giggle:
rkt.india Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 My major concern is the no.6 batting slot and well who's going to be our premier quick our go-to bowler the kind of batting line up that these guys have at home - that's some demoralizing stuff right there. It. What about batting slot 4?
deathmonger Posted July 30, 2013 Author Posted July 30, 2013 $$$$$$$$$$$$ = 0 - 8 or maybe even more this time around :giggle: Also 4-0, CT and WC. :finger: While Pak got 0-3 in SA and 0-3 in CT.:finger:

saurabhg1 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 :WTF: Didn't India play home tests with both these hopeless teams just a couple of months ago...??? :orderorder: When are we going to get our chance to score the maiden test series win in indian soil... Seems India are afraid to play against us with Sanga and Herath in top form...:giggle:Probably waiting till they retire...:beee: Finally u r back.. 2 months after the royal thrashing in tri series :giggle::giggle:
