From Oct 2013 to March 2014 India will play cricket nonstop. Aus 7 ODIs/T20 SA 7 ODIS/ 2 T20s/ 3 Tests NZ 2 Tests/ 3 ODIs/ 2 T20s Asia Cup World T20 Eng 5 Tests/5 ODIs/ Some T20s WI 3 Tests/5 ODIs/ Some T20s Oz 4 Tests/5 ODIs/ Some T20s World Cup Some of them are pretty tough. Exciting times.

One thing is for sure, injuries will happen. India needs depth. We dont have that depth in our pace bowling. I worry for Bhuvi in such a schedule.

all the more reason to try youngsters in series like Zimbabwe instead of tried and tested legends Bhuvi's workload has to be managed.Umesh should also concentrate on Tests only imo

Pathan/Shami/Ishant/Bhuvi/Umesh to be rotated. Rasool/Mishra/Ashwin/Jaddu/Ojha to be rotated. Same for batsmen.

Mohit has not even played a game Lord. Let the boy play a game and if he does well then we can use him for eg in the 7 ODIs v Aus coming up or even the Asia cup

Agree Mohit looked a very decent prospect. Cant believe we still didnt played him Zimbabwe, instead played Vinay Kumar :((:hehe:

look even i was impressed with him in the IPL. But lets not count our chickens before they hatch. As things stand right now for the ODIs i would take a bowling line up atm of Bhuvi Ishant and Unadkat with Shami as cover. For the tests i will take Bhuvi Umesh and Shami with Ishant & somebody who tour well on the A tour like Pandey and Kaul as cover. IMO if Zaheer can find his form with the ball it will take a huge load off the shoulders India as somebody who can be a test only bowler for the next 2 years We Mohit does well then clearly give him a run out v Aus alongside Unadakat etc and save bhuvi for SA

How does the schedule compare to England and South africa I wonder. We play far too much cricket itd be ncie if prior to SA this year and next years England tour especially we went in well prepared with bit of a break under our belts. Not to repeat the mistakes of last time

I think we would be better off not playing the asia cup or the 7 ODIs at home. But the BCCI still has to make money so the 7 ODIs are fair enough. But Asia cup was totally not needed. Why would you want to play an ODI tournament just before a T20 tournament.

Seems India are afraid to play against us with Sanga and Herath in top form...:giggle:Probably waiting till they retire...:beee:

Series win? SL haven't even come close to winning a test in India. Played 17, lost 10, won 0 31 years and counting :hysterical:

2011 tours to Eng and Aus were for the 2006-2012 FTP. New FTP for 2012-2020 started from last year. We travel to Eng for 5 test series in 2014 and 2018. To aus for 4 test series in 2014 and 2018 :--D
