^ I agree partly with their list, but found their criteria for walkable to be pretty dumb. Walking in Oakland? Sure there are footpaths and good accessibility, but I would never walk in Oakland after dark.

Either.. Even the articles are somewhat based on personal opinion. It is difficult to gauge certain factors. Downside though is there will be so many lists :) that we won't even have time to discuss about. http://www.toptenreviews.com/ I occasionally check this site when i am in the market for buying any electronic gadget or software.

Regarding walkable.. been to few cities in the list. I have to NY and Boston really stand out .They are pedestrian friendly. I wonder if they take the unlivable harsh cold weather into account in this "livability survey".
