BJP has been accused for stalling its passage, the other day.... (Although most of the days it was stalled by Congress MPs from Seemandhra, protesting the creation of Telangana.... Strange that before putting the important Food bill in Parliament, Congress deemed it important that they should divide AP first... Strange are the ways Congress works)... I'm guessing the Food bill might not be allowed to pass by Congress "sab Ganda hain par Dhanda hain teams - SP, BSP & RJD" demanding reservation in the Food bill for minorities, Dalits etc. then they will become secular and blame BJP for blocking the bill and being "anti-poor, anti-minorities and anti-Dalits... SOP for so many years now...

Somehow I believe the Direct Benefit Transfer if implemented properly would have been a bigger game changer than FSB. Nothing better than giving cash in the hands of your potential voters. FSB will be difficult to implement and not enough time IMO for reaping its benefits.

They will move heaven & hell to make some of it work, at least for the time being.

forget about FSB being game changer - it will an enormous burden and will lead to lower productivity. But of course all that doesn't matter to the Govt. as long as it gets votes for the Kaangress...

What they will surely do though is a carpet bombing of print and visual ads to promote FSB and DBT. Has already started with the tagline being "Bhookh ko bhagana hai"

BJP too can **** off seeing as they too supported it. It should be Modi or bust for any wellwisher of India.
the last time I checked, Modi not only was a member of the BJP but he was also the National Campaign Chief - why didn't he say anything against the FSB? Or for that matter, if he is supposed to be so "different" and "clean" then what about Political parties under RTI - I didn't see him asking for that either...

So the govt will pay more to farmers, sell for cheaper and also spend money on storage and distribution. What an idea :woot: Wonder who will pay for this but one thing for sure, its another opportunity for politicians to make even more money.

I think BJP should stay away from the power. Let Rahul Gandhi lead next term as well. Let them bring this FSB to reality and we all know whats going to happen with it. I hope they dont create more mess.
