Some of them have already compared him to likes of "THE WALL"..."THE TECHNICIAN" Mr Rahul Dravid. He seems to have technique but didn't had the stomach to handle first class cricket. He was away for a while but came back strongly in the last season and got some big scores. Like Pujara, he seems to have penchant for big scores and puts price on his wicket.He is continuing his form in the recent U-23 cricket. He scored over 250 runs with a good avg of 70+. It's time for him to promote him to INDIA B team ( Team for NZ A and WI A tour) and see if he has the temperament to handle better teams. I hope he succeeds as INDIA never had a very strong technically sound opening batsmen after SUNIL GAVASKAR. As SACHIN mentioned, technique + temperament will make a good international cricketer. We have to wait and see. if this guy have the later. But right now, he is ahead of CHAND in the pecking order. What say??

That's the key. Give them opportunities when they are in good form and their confidence is high. I feel like we lost Badri and especially Rahane because they rode the bench for too long, and when they got a chance, they had lost form and confidence.
