Holysmoke Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I wouldnt have him in the next game. Actually, I wouldnt have had him in this game either...
Gaurav Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Next game will be meaningless anyway. We are 3wkts down already!
Ram Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 Its no harm to spur a debate , as long no-one ridicules any player. I didnt call Rahul any names, i am merely calling for a discussion. No wrong in that.
Cricketics Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 i mean a thread rite away after a dismisal amazes me
kumble_rocks Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Writing is on the wall - Wall is going to take a fall.
yoda Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 He absolutely must quit ODIs after this series. 1 down, 2 to go.
Dooks Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I opened a thread last week sometime regarding the big 3 and the rublings from India. But I guess if Dravid may actually quit ODIs after this series. Unfortunately, he has lost his mojo after chucking in the captaincy :D. I say restore him to captaincy and see him flay the bowlers around the park as he did against England. Of the big 3 - I think he will be the least missed if he gives up ODI. Personally, I will miss him as he is my favourite player. Let's hope he & the selectors wait until after the Paks are sent home with their puchdis between their legs before retiring.
Gambit Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 As I said a few days back, RD(avg 25) and SCG(avg 22) have never really performed against Australia in ODIs anyway. So these failures aren't unexpected. I'm sure both of them will do well against Pak.

Let us give them big farewell (i.e. by bashing up the Pakis) and then they can wonder off in the sunset.
Chandan Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 abe shaane dont start threads like these it happens. first ball and brett putting all its pace What can Dravid do if Daar can't see the inside edge onto the pad whereas he saw an edge from him in England where there was none??
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 RD is looking completely lost out there, but this is just temporary. I expect him to get his act together against Pakistan. Time to bring in Dinesh Karthik for the remaining matches in this series.
sachin_fan Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Everyone crumbles and goes out of form....lets not blow it up....I guess we need an interesting strategy to tackle this...The top order is not too bad...ganguly is doing well....How about pathan 1 down instead of RD .... and let RD come and consolidate btwn overs 15-30....
Prudent Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Dravid is really struggling, he should go
gs Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 he should go home and ask pendarkar for some nets!:D
