sscomp32
Great News. :yay: The first Indian umpire in Elite panel after Venkat. :isalute: Link to comment
mishra
Corrected I haven't seen Dickie Bird but amongst the umpires I have seen officiating Venkat is the best, even better than Taufel. During last phase of umpiring career most umpires start making erroneous decision ( I remember being unhappy with Venkat decisons many a times, do not remember specifics) . I think Aleem Dar, Tauffel, Bowden, Shepherd, Rudi Koertzen, All have been generally very good. Link to comment

He looked uncomfortable when English were appealing. Judging by body language, He seemed hurried into making one decision as OUT which otherwise he may have given NOT OUT (very marginal). Later in the innings, He coped well, infact overcompensated :haha: when he gave a NOT OUT which was actually OUT. Link to comment
