ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 :hatsoff::hatsoff: if every indian bowler just watched these guys and got inspired... legends :hatsoff:
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 dhawan needs to make it count, dont think he understands how much he can change the game if he plays within his zone. he is almost the master at sneaky singles so rotating strike not a problem. That hack rohit has got into him, i want rahane to open and then dont care where rohit plays or even if he does play. My xi to kick ass: Dhawan, Rahane, Kohli, Raina, Yuvi, Dhoni, Jadeja, Mishra, Ashwin, shami, aaron
Asim Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 ^ btw its one latest pic, during a Pepsi Pak Ad, for WT20...
Utalk Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 India are clear favourites. Too much firepower for Pakistan. Will be a one sided affair. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
game_changerr Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 lol...indo pak fans doing ''pehle aap, pehle aap''.....but gaadi hamesa india ki nikal jaati hai#andaj_apna_apna

If their approach is the same this time, we are clearly beating them.. we have yuvi, raina and dhoni coming in.. a lot of experience to deal with situation like this. Our team deals with their trump card (ajmal) the best... It is just that we are very slow off the blocks these days.. and play catch up for rest of game.

They seem to put undue pressure on themselves. Even before this t-20 clash Hafeez and Afridi have come out and made statements about the game. You generally don't see that from the Indian side. they usually say its just another game, kind off stuff. But just because India seems to be calm doesn't mean they are not under pressure. But pressure sometimes helps you stay alert and makes you perform. Seems like both teams have different ways of preparing themselves mentally for pressure game.
Asim Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 ^, No, AFAIK Akram is taller than Waqar... May be Waqar standing somewhere a step above...
G_B_ Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Moeen Ali i believe is born and raised in the UK. I dont think its fair he qualifies. Based on that logic Bopara and WI team contain many Indians. Hong Kong and UAE fair enough.
Asim Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 ^ exclude all other than Pak, Hong Kong & UAE, still makes 33 :giggle:
blue_caps Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 MS Dhoni clobbers Amit Mishra for six sixes Fatullah: There was a feeling of deja vu as Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Tuesday took Amit Mishra to the cleaners during a net session here, much like former skipper Sourav Ganguly would do with Murali Kartik a few years ago. In 10 balls during a particular phase, Dhoni hit Mishra for half a dozen sixes and at least four boundaries which could qualify as near-about maximums. The manner in which Dhoni hammered Mishra into submission could be a reason as to why the skipper is reluctant on inducting the portly Haryana leggie into the playing XI. Ganguly, in his heydays, was brutal on left-arm spinners. Many believe that it is precisely the reason Kartik's Test career ended with just eight matches between 2000 and 2004 as the 'Prince of Calcutta' never faced any problems while facing him at the nets. Ganguly had on numerous times clobbered Kartik in domestic matches. And with Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh in his ranks, Ganguly never considered Kartik a good enough option in either domestic or foreign conditions. One felt the same while watching Dhoni bat against Mishra when the Indian team trained ahead of their World T20 warm-up game against England. A few were hit towards the cow corner while some were clear straight hits and a few lofted in the region between deep extra-cover and long off. Not even once was Mishra successful in troubling Dhoni. While he hadn't batted during the last net session and also during the first warm-up game on Monday, there was no rustiness as he took on both pacers and spinners with aplomb. Expecting some fireworks from Dhoni in this series. As he usually steps up his game when he is surrounded by some controversies :giggle: Source :- Cant post links as my post count is low .... sports[dot]ndtv[dot]com/icc-world-twenty20-2014/news/222125-icc-world-twenty20-ms-dhoni-clobbers-amit-mishra-for-six-sixes-during-net-session
Midfielder Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Do not underestimate pakistan in this game. They will bat out the 20 overs and it will come down to containment.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 can always rely on dhoni to break his bowlers confidence.. except chawla of course :cantstop: ah well mishra is a good player for us, he should play and if dhoni is in the groove, good for india. Never denied his batting abilities but as captain think he is done.
Asim Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I hope you are right. It seems because of their political and religious reasons they are under more pressure and lose the game even when they had better teams. Like I said who ever holds their nerves is going to win. :cantstop: :haha:
