I disagree. Vaughan is smarter than people give him credit. Anyway if they are performing in Domestic then give them a run.
i dont think its a wise idea to be so opinionated about everything. Especially sports he has little real technical knowledge about. He is raking in the money no doubt. But i just think people are going to tire hearing from him all the time. Long term will screw him when he loses some gigs.

I was listening to him on the radio while the Ashes was on because apparently it was a great time for the family to watch a Hindi movie. I thought Vaughan was on spot on several things. Sure his way of saying it can rub people the wrong way but he was on spot.

nobody is disputing that he does not have points to make. Valid points. But its gets lost in the plethora of crap he says across the board. what Vaughan should do is stick to cricket and maybe limit his appearance to TMS. Thats it. similarly Ganguly should stick to commentating and thats it in the media. From what i know googling around commentators are paid $2000 per day at the BCCI and similar amount for foreign India tours. That works out to nearly $300k from commentating for him.

Actually it's easy for us who haven't played top level cricket ever to come out and laugh when an expert like Dada who pretty much achieved everything in his cricketing career, says about a plyaer like Raina to continue to play him test. But he probably see something in him like he saw and had confidence in Sehwag. Give some benefit of doubt. I am not saying he would be great revelation but he might come out to be a strong player. You never know.

Maybe Zaheer for one last burst as the leader of the attack and to have him play a mentor role to the young bowlers. Our bowling has hit rock bottom and he can probably help. But Sehwag looks like he is done. He is my favorite test batsman to watch but I see nothing but another series of failures and dashed expectations if he is brought back now. He should improve his fitness and show some consistent form before he is given another chance. I would love for him to have another great run and a grand send off but it seems very unlikely.
