Rajiv
I mean, it would have been a befitting end This farewell was just a convenient formality where he couldn't have more than 2 opportunities to bat A chance to go past Miandad and have a strong middle order for Indian Series. Strange  Link to comment
The Outsider
It was pretty obvious that the powers to be in the PCB wanted him out and it was in fact surprising that he got this farewell test. Link to comment
Ram
Rajeev, you gotto be kidding. Inzy shouldnt even have played this 2nd test against Saffies. He was allowed to play ONLY because they wanted him to break Miandad's record and feel a bit better about retiring , rather than having the Ireland match in the world cup as the last memory of Inzamam. King
Agree with that Rajeev, Inzi should have been selected to play against India in India. When coming up against India particularly after Pakistan has lost twice to India in the Twenty20 I would have thought Pakistan would have gone for experience particularly in test cricket. I can't see how any of the three, Younis, Yousuf and Inzi can be replace in test cricket for now. I think they cut Inzi's career short in test cricket particularly. Retiring after the test series against India in India would have been a better swan song for Inzi. Link to comment
