i have never seen him reverse older ball or seam or swing it in odis he can be tight with older ball but i do not see how he iwll pick wickets

No. He has not. He normally plays in helpful conditions in UP for new ball and usually picks wickets early on, so there is not much left do with old ball. I still remember last year's match against Baroda which was live. He was good with new ball and then could not do much till the second new ball arrived.

He did bowl that over but nothing happened.

He was good with new ball and then could not do much till the second new ball arrived.[/quote'] exactly today shami bowled a god spell against weak team so it was not a problem but if we are bowling 4 bowlers at home then each and everyone of them should be able to bowl with older ball..

Yadav didn't play many tests in the past season. The only place where I saw his bowling was the CT, the Challenger trophy and followed his Ranji match on cricinfo. Combining all 3, it would be safe to say he was ordinary. A player has to fight his way back in the team if he gets out due to injury. Yadav hasn't really done enough to be in the 2 slots available for pacers. I would have loved to see him in action too but at the moment BK and Shami look like better options. If only we could play all 3!

It never happens. It was not like he was dropped and had to fight his way back. He was bowling well amidst that injury. So, it only requires proving his fitness to make a come back which has already done.
