BlackMamba Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 In fact it is time for others to step up Just 100 runs per inn between Dhawan, Kohli and Pujara is just not enough. And Dhoni has to step up at 6. Even 30s and 40s at that position is quite good.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 aaron can bat. and if dhoni cant then step down.
express bowling Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 In WIndies and Sub continent its the job of spinners to win matches. His role should be as support bowler In the Windies, more pacers win matches than spinners. In the subcontinent, lots of pacers have performed really well .... especially the quicker ones who bowl reverse swing.
Old guy Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 In the Windies, more pacers win matches than spinners. In the subcontinent, lots of pacers have performed really well .... especially the quicker ones who bowl reverse swing. we play 2 pacers and 3 spinners now a days so he has his place to just bowl well with new ball and bat well in lower order
express bowling Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 we play 2 pacers and 3 spinners now a days so he has his place to just bowl well with new ball and bat well in lower order He will play for sure. Then he will be able to showcase how good he is.
Old guy Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 He will play for sure. Then he will be able to showcase how good he is. his job will be to pick 2-3 top order wickets like he did against aussies he literally destroyed warner in 2-3 matches
Lord Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 He will play for sure. Then he will be able to showcase how good he is. we play 2 pacers in India.so hes not needed.Shami and Ishant/Umesh can do the job. but he may get in due to his batting
Old guy Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 we play 2 pacers in India.so hes not needed.Shami and Ishant/Umesh can do the job. but he may get in due to his batting also on flat days he goes for less than 2 rpo so even if wickets do not come he is not really a liability
express bowling Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 we play 2 pacers in India.so hes not needed.Shami and Ishant/Umesh can do the job. but he may get in due to his batting Agree completely.
Old guy Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 lets think about home games when we have one..its not near and there might be injuries after long series anyway
CSK Fan Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 His limitations being exposed maybe? Along with all the other bowlers playing, including the phast Shami, yes. We wouldn't expect a batsman to score a third 100 after back to back 100s in two tests but with bowlers somehow, he is the only one who needs to contribute in every test. Shami is just "out of shape", Pankaj is just 'unlucky', but no excuses for Bhuvi :cantstop:
BlueBee Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Along with all the other bowlers playing' date=' yes. We wouldn't expect a batsman to score a third 100 after back to back 100s in two tests but with bowlers somehow, he is the only one who needs to contribute in every test :cantstop:[/quote'] He needs to be rested for 4th match. Ishant can come in for him.
CSK Fan Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 He needs to be rested for 4th match. Ishant can come in for him. We won't take any wickets then. Why rest him and not Shami?
SLICKR392 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 His limitations being exposed maybe? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Gets a fifer in TB with the new and old ball and this guy is nowhere to be seen.
BlueBee Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 We won't take any wickets then. Why rest him and not Shami? Toss!
Temujin Khaghan Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 no one can satisfy Indian fans it seems. they need a 5 fer in every match even on flat tracks. did you guys see how many times BK beat the bat and missed an edge narrowly?
Lord Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 no one can satisfy Indian fans it seems. they need a 5 fer in every match even on flat tracks. did you guys see how many times BK beat the bat and missed an edge narrowly? They were busy reading the speed gun
