saneindian Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 He can hardly hit Bhuvi. Even in that 175 wala knock. The spinners would also give 90-odd but an inexperienced trundler is a prime candidate for being 'bali ka bakra'. Bapu and Gayle are teammates from their KKR days first and now at BRC. Bapu will be spared
GrandMasterSaxy Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Gayle will not spare the phaaaast bowlers, thankfully Indians have trundlers :) Gayle does struggle against medium pacers, Bhuvi love to have him in breakfast, lunch and dinner. And if Gayle does get going will the others be spared?
MCcricket Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Two best bowlers in India per stats, s/r, ave, played a few seasons are not picked up, Pankaj Singh, Pawan Suyal, the both ave 26 below, have a S/R AROUND 50, HAVE PLAYED A FEW SEASONS AND HAVE MOST PROMISE, Kulkarni IS GOOD ATLEAST BETTER THEN vk, Ishant, we do have a few pacers all alike 130 to 135 range and on the shorter side, would love to see Unadkat out, Pankaj in, and Suyal for Kulkarni as he did not look in good form this two earlier games and hope he performs as who knows when he will get a chance again.
saneindian Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Suyal first needs to find a place in Delhi Ranji 11. Nehra has taken wickets as has Narwal, now Ishant will be available for Delhi too.
Crookbond Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Gayle will not spare the phaaaast bowlers' date=' thankfully Indians have trundlers :) Gayle does struggle against medium pacers, Bhuvi love to have him in breakfast, lunch and dinner.[/quote'] Off topic but you have a unique quote-post style. ShebbySB Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Suyal or Shukla in place of POR BANDAR would've been icing on the cake....
MCcricket Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Por Bandar is pathetic , yes selectors should have gone for Shukla, Suyal, Pankaj, who knows we might have found one more Shami and that would be good for upcoming away tours.
ShebbySB Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Don't know what is special about him....no pace, not a great mover of the ball though bowls a tight line,is that enough to get into a national team which is no.1 & also reigning world champs :(( .....even Rishi Dhawan is a better option as he has got all-round ability.Suyal or Shukla who are blessed with pace & talented shoul've been selected. If Aaron can make a comeback our ODI bowling will be decent with BK,Shami,Aaron,Ashwin & Jaddu. We should also try Rahul Sharma, Nadeem & Rasool in place of Motu Mishra ji.
CG Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Suyal first needs to find a place in Delhi Ranji 11. Nehra has taken wickets as has Narwal' date=' now Ishant will be available for Delhi too.[/quote'] What he really needs is to find another state where he will get regular bowling and get away from politics of delhi.
CG Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 The odi selection is just going in circles. We now brought back mohit, kulkarni and after they get hammered we go to another set.I do not think mohit ,unadakt or kulkarni are odi bowlers .
GrandMasterSaxy Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 not really....post # 134 :) Off topic but you have a unique quote-post style. You write your post above the quoted post. Just curious - any particular reason you do so? :icflove:
Austin 3:!6 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Why is Rayudu still there? He is a hack. They should have selected Rahane/Pujara. Good decision to retain Yuvi though.
Austin 3:!6 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 BTW why so many chop and changes every series? When will India settle down with a side for 2015 WC preparations?
Magneto Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Bapu and Gayle are teammates from their KKR days first and now at BRC. Bapu will be spared Shouldn't have dropped Vinay using that logic. :cantstop:
Sidhoni Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Great news. Only negative side is still no Rahane.
MCcricket Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 BTW why so many chop and changes every series? When will India settle down with a side for 2015 WC preparations? Because the selectors are idi0ts , they keep picking up useless trundlers and hang on to them forever, Cheeka and co was the worse culprit, Mithun, Aravind, VK, UNADKAT, and many more were selected thanks to him at the cost of Pankaj Singh, Shami, even Aaron, Shami, Umesh were lucky to be given a chance that was an accident.By now the selectors should have had a good pool, but we just have a Shami by accident, even he was not given a chance by Dhoni over Ishant, VK lol.
Texan Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 And if Gayle does get going will the others be spared? :headshake:
GrandMasterSaxy Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Sandeep Patil is one of the best selector till date. He is very disciplined and unbiased, he understand that he is not the owner to take the decision on his own, at times he have to agree to captain and select the non performers and trundlers. Because the selectors are idi0ts ' date=' they keep picking up useless trundlers and hang on to them forever, Cheeka and co was the worse culprit, Mithun, Aravind, VK, UNADKAT, and many more were selected thanks to him at the cost of Pankaj Singh, Shami, even Aaron, Shami, Umesh were lucky to be given a chance that was an accident.By now the selectors should have had a good pool, but we just have a Shami by accident, even he was not given a chance by Dhoni over Ishant, VK lol.[/quote']
rkt.india Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Kulkarni not yet fit, not playing Ranji match today. Still a week before ODIs though.
