Have a look at this guy recently played in their domestic tournament and scared the s h i t out of the batsmen, one being Misbah UL Haq, and the news is that they want him in the SL series. umairbaig Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 the only diff between india and pak is that indian selctors would have waited for such a boweler to perform in alteast 2 domestic seasons, whereas in pakistan , selectors pick raw talent in team, on the basis of even one performance, and if they are capable enough, they perform in the international circuit as well

They are generally quicker than the indians and for longer spells, they also have a lot more heart...they dont give up so quickly and whereas some promising Indian quicks have come - they seem to get slower once they have made their money. Nor do they have the skills our bowlers posses....

Mohammed Asif and Junaid Khan were one trick ponies when they started off, later on both developed other tricks and Asif before he wasted all that talent with his gross stupidity was a formidable bowler. He's got 2 things to work with has Usman, pace and away swing, he will develop the inswing eventually and I'm sure will become a quality bowler. But more than anything else, he's got pace.

Anwar Ali didn't have the pace. Anwar Ali at the same age was bowling at least 10kph slower. Porvided young bowlers can bowl at pace accurately, I'm happy. The rest can be worked on.

Anwar Ali did not possess pace and was not given chance earlier, Usman has pace and can make the difference with outswing only. Later on in a year or two he can develop in dipper.
