Need the pacers to shine. One thing we are missing is a quality, wicket taking spinner. Sorry ashwin, but you've shown me nothing. Maybe its field placements but he's leaking singles and boundaries. That hard to really turn the ball and get a wicket?

In SA' date=' a spinner bowling 17 overs for 40 runs is leaking singles and boundaries?[/quote'] ashwin yet again bowled innocuously with low speeds..this pitch assist the spinners,ajmal,swann even bhajji would have done miles better..ashwin is bowling to slowly without giving much revs,the only good thing is he bowled a tight line and didn't bowl bad deliveries.. thing is one expect a spinner,especially from SC to pick wkts on this day4 track but ashwin just didn't look like picking any..he should be dropped in the next test,he has had a horrid tour till now and the saffies are playing him easily

Better than tahir imo, but when we need a wicket, i don't feel like ashwin will get us one whereas I felt that bowling ishant and zak more would have been better. Ashwin is saved by his batting

Ashwin I thought bowled ok today Seamers were so unlucky it was not even funny. Peterson must have got beaten about 25 times but would not nick it

Umesh and Bhuvi should be ready for a comeback into the 11 if its a long day tomorrow. Next test match starts in 3 days time and both Zaheer and Ishant would have bowled 50 overs+ each in the match by tomorrow. Could be a little tired come the 26th of Dec creating an opportunity for Umesh / Bhuvi

Yep Steyn and Philander as well. Smith was a little cautious with Steyn today. Plus they both getan extra day to rest, Ishant and Zak will get only . I am specially worried about Zak. Hopefully though we will wrap it up quickly

Indian bowlers always need some help from the Pitch or conditions because they are only average bowlers with out any guile. We have a defensive captain who is reluctant to select the best bowlers in the team, like Umesh and wanna persist with crap bowlers like Ashwin.

Zaheer looks tired now. Infact, he is looking out of steam from time to time. Still can take wickets using his experience. But I am not sure he is as fit as he claims.
