It's not a bad idea actually. If we he fails in the first test, we can drop him in the 2nd test but still keep him in the squad for England tour. This will make sure that he is still part of the team and that team has faith in him at the same time also make sure that he can't take his place for granted. We have to try Rayudu who will surely be part of the squad in NZ.

I do not have much hope on Rayudu and Manoj Tiwary. Need to find someone else. I can name a few like Baba, Juneja though he is completely out of form this season, Rahul, Robin Bist, Pandey, etc. Baba can be the best option as he can give us his off spin option.

Juneja would be my next choice. Yes, out of form at the moment, but he's performed remarkably well against "A" sides (WI & NZ).

Haven't seen Baba bat though. I would be a bit skeptical about FTBs from TN who can only score runs on flat tracks like Chennai. We have seen this with Badri, Mukund in the past. Not passing any judgement though... As I said, I haven't seen him bat.

Off the Under 19's, the best bet is Baba. I am not yet convinced about Chand and Zol . But these are early days and I have only seen all three play a couple of matches, they might get better as they gain experience.
