someone Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 BJP-LJP deal announced. LJP to get 7 seats. It's a good deal in long term. Breaks the assumptions and myth that BJP won't get allies. Congress won't be pleased at all. Also, do believe that 2 out of those seats will be on BJP banner.

G_B_ Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 for fudge sake, what do you want him to say? BJP wont win a single seat? He is supposed to say that. If i was in Rajnath's place I would have said that.

If i was in Rajnath's place I would have said that. Exactly! And what does S=G want from Kejriwal? Say that we will be lucky to get into double digits? If Kejriwal's claim is being marked for pwnage, the politics section should be full of pwnage delivered threads by now of all parties.

randomGuy Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Toll-free number to help AAP volunteers connect with voters from home Supporters and volunteers of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will now be able to campaign for the rookie party without hitting the streets. The AAP is planning to use its supporters and volunteers to reach out to voters ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls by setting up a virtual call centre. An AAP supporter can make a call on a toll-free number from the comfort of home and connect to a voter. Explaining the technology, party spokesperson Dilip Pandey said the system was kind of a virtual call centre, which will help the party reach out to at least 100 million voters across the country. "There will be a toll-free number on which an AAP supporter would call and (the call) would be connected to a number belonging to prospective voter. Once connected, the supporter will explain to the person the party's goals and ideals and why he/she should vote for the party," Pandey said. Every time a supporter calls on the toll-free number, he will be connected to a new number. The calls made by a supporter will also be audited by an AAP member to ensure the genuineness of the call. The party had used this means to campaign during the Delhi assembly elections in December last year. It had connected to 800,000 voters with the help of about 21,000 volunteers. The technology is different from the popular method used by other parties till now wherein a voter is bombarded with pre-recorded message. "Personal calls to voters asking them to vote for a party works better than the pre-recorded message," Bhaskar Singh, in-charge of the programme, said. It also obviates the need to set up a call centre thus reducing the cost of campaigning significantly. The party will just bear the cost of the calls made unlike a call centre, where the employees have to be paid a salary. http://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/arvindkejriwalacommonmaninpolitics/toll-free-number-to-help-aap-volunteers-connect-with-voters-from-home/article1-1188873.aspx
