Marut Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 300 is a very difficult to get - you need plenty of luck to get there. Even Dravid and Sachin could not get there, it is not as if they did not have the talent. 300 is an elite club, a good or even a very good batsman may never make a 300 in his career.
carnish Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Pujara in New Zealand -- 55, 72, 159, 30 Pujara in England -- 0, 12, 81, 06, 242, 27, 107, 11*, 88, 6 Pujara in Australia -- 41, 105, 172, 43, 60, 19, 28, 38
adi B Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 no one can score that much, pujara is more of an accumulator,he might get a triple ton max but 400?no way..meanwhile kohli has a knack of throwing away his wkt after his 100 so he 1st needs to learn to continue with his innings..i'd be more than happy if each of these 4 guys score a ton rather than thinking if anyone will score a 400
adi B Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Yep' date=' in Eng series, the Tailunt will score 4,0,0[/quote'] :haha:
Old guy Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 ^ Perhaps also 0' date='0,7 ?[/quote'] With current English bowling he should do well otherwise forget about being a test batsman:giggle:
King Tendulkar Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Pujara in New Zealand -- 55, 72, 159, 30 Pujara in England -- 0, 12, 81, 06, 242, 27, 107, 11*, 88, 6 Pujara in Australia -- 41, 105, 172, 43, 60, 19, 28, 38 I think some games may get rained off wihich will ruin your accurate prediction. I also think in 1st innings in england will get 25 not 0
Old guy Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Pujara is good starter of series so expect him to score big in first matches ..kind of like Amla
alexander Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Predicting 400 scores already is a bit much.
Vijy Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I don't think we'll see any triples in a long, long time. It's not at all an easy achievement, esp since pitches are slowly becoming more bowler-friendly again.
Sidhoni Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Kohli really needs to sort out his problem of throwing his wicket away after reaching 100. Even at Jo'burg recently things might have been different if he carried on but he played a poor shot. If he sorts this out he can go on to get some BIG hundreds. His issue is of course format specific as we have seen him scoring 183 in ODIs.

special K Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Bairstow will score a triple 100 against the Indian trundling attack. Expect English averages to skyrocket into the 60's after the demolition job of the Indian cricket team.
