They are known as siddis and wiki tells me they have been here since 628 AD. They are also live in other parts of india. So every african looking person might not be from some african country. The Siddi community is currently estimated at around 20,000–55,000 individuals, with Karnataka, Gujarat and Hyderabad in India and Makran and Karachi in Pakistan as the main population centres

Some nigerians live near my hopsital as well and IDK why the hell are they here? Time to clamp down on visas of these people. Students i can understand but because Nigeria has a civil war(not sure they have one)these people can come to India?We exactly arent a rich nation short of qualified workforce are we?

Yeah, I have seen plenty back in Kerala. There are a lot of them out here in B'lore and Kerala for medical reasons. I have seen some Africans here in B'lore but not certain if they are Nigerians. The reason I brought up students is because the Nigerians here, of what I have seen are mostly 20-25 age group. I am not sure if the civil war has ended, but its not a stable situation out there.

If they are involved in crime then definately arrest them

If every country in world started thinking like that half the people posting here would lose their jobs. Forget nigerian in India, i as a hindi speaker has had some bitter experiences in smaller towns in southern states. People from north east go through it every day across the country. I bet people from southern state would have similiar experience. We are racist, we are insensitive to others feeling. Put a gora instead of the black guy and the whole scenario would be different, but gori's needs to worry about sex starved di-cks

KhanSaab Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 On my flight to Delhi from Amsterdam last year, i sat next to a middle aged Nigerian gentleman who was visiting his sick father being treated in a Delhi hospital. So Africans could have a lot of legitimate reasons to visit and live in India. Dont be racist. And Indians should be the last ones to complain as we populate pretty much every part of the world, legally or illegally.
