mastana Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 If this team has to win the world cup. Then these 3 should be in the team. Look at Rohit how many balls he was wasting in the last 4 odi's and he did ghanta in those matches. Gauti should open with dhawan, sehwag should bat at 5 and pujara at 4.
Iconoclast Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Pujara definitely. Ha can lay a foundation and continue on while others attack around him.
zep1706 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Sehwag is done. Pujara is a must. Gauti if he is in good form then yes.
veer Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Pujara yes... but other two are not. Are they even playing domestic games??
jatinder Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 gautam and pujara are welcome but sehwag is goner
BlueBee Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Yes definitely. If Sehwag returns in form, and gauti too. But Pujara is must
skindia Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Srt odi records are in tact just coz dhoni playing in middle order
moniker Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Abhinav Mukund and Pujara should open with Kedhar Jadhav batting in the middle order. These guys have good List A records. No need to go back to the discards just because their replacements are failures.
smbhayi Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Pujara...? He has a knee problem, I think... For others they need to prove their self... Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using Tapatalk 2
SLICKR392 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 'If' they are in good touch. Pujara is must for now, let alone the WC.
Lord Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Pujara is must.but instead of GG and Viru.I'd look for new guys like Jadhav and maybe Chand. GG can come back but needs to do a lot
Marut Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Let Veeru and Gauti prove they are still good enough to get runs at the highest level.
rageaddict Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Agree. I think most of us have grown up watching India getting off to blazing starts thanks to our openers. We had Tendulkar, Ganguly then arrived Sehwag and Gambo to lead our proud tradition of explosive opening batsmen. And suddenly we see a Tuk Tuk culture being brought up at the Top by Sharma. This is so Pakistanesque and has no place in the Indian Cricket team.
skindia Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Gambhir hasnt done bad in odi even when he got dropped....why he didnt get extended run...For accommodating nohit he is dropped..
