But I reckon selectors would respond and say that Raina is younger and harder working than the other three and more willing to rectify his mistakes. Also his fielding is very good- India are trying rid themselves of donkeys in the field. Yuvi is no longer the old Yuvi in the field.

Will need to pile on the runs in domestic one dayers and then the IPL for a comeback. Also a lot will depend on how comfortable Dhoni feels with Gambo in the squad. I hope before he's recalled, someone gets them to talk and sort out all their differences. Dhoni backing Gauti publicly and then recently Gambo saying he's had no issues with Dhoni ever in the dressing room looks to be a step in the right direction.

Selectors will argue good bowler (mystery spinner who can bowl at the power play/death) and good batsmen against pace. Although, we haven't seen much of either recently. They will also point to yuvis poor form with ball and age difference

Phrase your statement well, bud. He is not not a poor Test player but an out of form (Test) player. In ODIs, try Pujara in the opening slot but he is anyday a better #4 than Rahane or Rohit. We need a senior going into the WC. Either GG or Yuvi.

Therefore, he is a good Test player who has been having some technical issues. Even Sehwag and Sachin were out of form the in the last 2-3. Agreed. In Tests, he has to amend his technical issues, than rather being arrogant about it. Wasn't all that bad in ODIs, TBH. Especially overseas. He was pretty good in Australia. Would have obviously done better than both our openers in the NZ ODI series.
