Old guy Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 There is no problem. We are doing fine. These things happen once in a year. We will win the Asia Cup. India is a champion team. Yada yada. Why does they always happen in that time of year when we are not playing at home ?

We will surely qualify in the semis of the Asia Cup (dunno what the format is though). We'll again get humiliated in the T20 World Cup. We may actually do okay in the England series.

alexander Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Well this has become a thrashing. Your bowlers are poor. Aaron is sharp, but not express. Your spinners ave no bite outside of Asia. They are not mystery spinners. Your batsmen [bar Kohli, he is a freak and reminds me of IVA R] have poor techniques - and some are easy pickings in seaming or bouncing conditions.

CG Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 1.Capatincy-There is no accountability for loses and captain continues to enjoy support of board president .Dhoni is an defensive captain with preference to contain runs .Captain is as good as team true.But U see the reflection of captain's thinking in the team. 2.Favouritism -runs rampant.Guys like Rohit ,Ishan,Raina,Jadeja,Ashwin are given many more chances than some guys who are under constant pressure to perform or perish. 3.Inexpereinced Bowlers&Rules-Our bowling attack is inexperienced even though U have guys who are talented but they are raw and need guidance.Even somebody like wasim akram asked imran khan on where to bowl his next ball.They are on their own planning things. 4.Poor Support Staff-The bowling coach is incompetent and has not been able to sort technical problems of the bowlers and Should be sacked.

CoverDrive Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 This is better attack than one in SA. you can see that Aaron has improved. Bhuvi and Shami probably need some break and some correction in thier length. Spinners not taking wickets is hurting also. that was the reason that we won in CT.
