Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Who are the tried and tested good bowling coaches we have in cricketing world that Team India can hire? Coaches who have shown results in domestic or international cricket for long time.
Number Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Problem is those proven coaches will be big names, who will really like to work and will want some say in the selections of squad and XI. That is not possible with Dhoni the dictator at helm. So the best option for India is to look for coaches who just want to make money and toe the line. Same goes for the head-coach.

Yup they want some one who cna polish their shoes and look after their kits.

GolGappe Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Normally good international players seldom make good coaches but I think bowling coach might be an exception to the rule. Hiring a nobody hasn't worked for India.
