Absolutely. Need Sekhar as a bowling coach. When was the last time we had an Indian bowling coach? Dawes is tying a blind eye to Ishant's pathetic seam position. In every single tours that matter is brought up by the commies and critics but our coaching staff doesn't seem to care about any of it. Sekhar did a good job with Yadav during his stint in DD.

My concern is that all the new guys need to be managed well I fear if the workload on Shami is not reduced he will fade away so need someone who can manage these new guys well Dawes needs to go should hire T.A Sekhar
Well hoe about get 2 other fast bowlers in to help with work load. Know any? But wait dhinis hands and his lover boy on away tours, what will happen then

Exactly. We need other wicket taking pacers apart from Shami so that he does not have to bowl loooooong spells. A fast bowler needs to be used in shorter spells, 5 to 6 overs ideally.

Thomson terrorized due to lack of helmets but also h e could beat batsmen for pace, facing mj was not life threatening but pommies looked out of sort because they were getting beaten sheer pace. This Varun does not have that kind of pace only indian bowler who could do that to some extent were srinath and lamboo when he started , this execuse of slow low home pitches is nonsense , how are pakistani bowlers doing it. He may be pacy for Indian standard but he would not be worrying any international players so he eeds a stock delivery which I dont think he has so far
Beating batsmen for pace isnt the best criteria to judge because it depends on the ability of a batsman. These days batsmen are much more equipped to handle genuine pace with all the practice with bowling machines. Regarding Pakistan bowlers being able to bowl good bouncers, their fast bowling culture is different. They have been taught to be attacking from a young age. There is a reason not a single fast bowler bowls good bouncer. Here Wagner even at 135 bowling good bouncers. In Indian setup, if a young bowler try to bowl bouncers, he will be scolded by the coach and will be asked to bowl fuller. This is what you find from lower levels to even Ranji trophy and pitches not conducive to bowl bouncers also contributes. Our bowlers lack the habit of bowling good accurate bouncers and mostly cannot execute them with controlled accuracy. Bouncers are more about execution than pace.

we are ****ing clueles!!! Why do we hate fast bowlers so much? What a starnge cricket culture we have. Insanity this
I don't think any other country in the world would have done this. It becomes very difficult to follow and support Indian cricket when it comes to bowler selection. I get the feeling that we don't want lethal , wicket taking bowlers to develop. There was so much discussion going on about including Aaron in the test 16.,Turns out, he is not in the selectors' scheme of things and Anureet and Dinda are.

The message has gone out to aaron like he has to yadav. This message will reverberate around indian cricket as usual. Dont bowl fast, we dont want that. Be trundler work horse. Just kiss surface and hit top off Let the thrundling culture continue. We are India, we dont need fast bowlers. Lets trundle away!!
