Sangwan was supposed to be our next great lol. He played in the year when SOuthee, Parnell played in the under 19 world cup. He is still an unfinished product. We cannot extrapolate future performance based on what we see here. It is an irony that we believe skills can be learnt any time But can't be learnt any time. Also we say these bowlers will add more pace in future lol That is quiet contradictory.

Don't think we have any. Most of us compare these guys with our own trundlers and rate them. Ideal you should compare with pace bowlers from other countries and judge them.

From the matches I have seen, our pacers have been the quickest of the lot. Quicker than the Pakistanis and English for sure.

All raw talent do not become finished products. Even 25 % is not bad. That is why we need more raw talent. All the great players have increased their skill level as they have played more. No great had a high % of their skills at 18 or 19. Chama and Monu are not skill less. They can move the ball and bowl decent areas. They don't look brainless like Ishant either. Their performance in this tournament has not been bad given the docile pitches.

Clock speed will take a nose dive if they don't land it properly on the seam , if you have poor wrist position. Much like Ishant's 145k looked like 120k in Australia.

Much like Ishant's 145k looked like 120k in Australia.[/quote'] I can understand your skepticism given the abysmal state of our seniors pace attack.But ,these guys did not have any major problems if you consider the u19 stage of development expected and other better seamers operating in the tournament. They visually hurried the batsmen with reasonable regularity. Did you watch the matches ? The more important issue is to see that these guys do not go downhill when they play senior cricket. That is the biggest problem in India and the reasons need to be found out and rectified.

To the naked eye but when he took a wicket they showed a freeze frame of him when the umpires were checking for a no ball and their was defiantly a kink in his action. It actually reminded me of shoib akhtar so hopefully its just hyper extension and he'll be okay.
