1) i dont think dhoni can pick players as he wishes , he can suggest layers . 2) blame the team responsible for grooming pace bowlers. 3) If the attacking bowlers pick wickets , why do dhoni will keep them for defensive duties. 4) Blaming dhoni for everything is indianized lahori logic ( or i would put it as MTC/KT logic ). Sreeshanth won us the 2nd test in South Africa,was looking in prime form in 3rd test and what happens....msd criticisms him in public....being the mental midget he is he just disintegrates. Sends yuvraj in wt20 ,fair enough worth a gamble,when he r's it up comes in and does jack,could have sent in Raina even then. Screws up in Ipl final and blames everyone under the sun except himself. Don't even want to get in to his skills as a batsman or a keeper.....just talking about his "mythical" captaincy traits. Making fun of bowlers,batsmen etc when he himself is a big screw up....that should sum up msd.

I mean Ipl playoffs.....dhoni sucks in tests,sucks in t20 but still leeches on.....no captain in any sport has survived 3 f.r wc exits unless may be he is from an associate nation. In tests 9-0,given he didn't play in one of the tests,should have been made up for all the successes he had.....infact he just rode the cottails of others.....forget our star batting order,likes of ishant,sree,Pathan, have won tests for India what has dhoni ever done

Lets look into the bowlers who debuted under Dhoni's captaincy - RP Singh, P.Kumar, A. Mithun, U.Yadav, V.Kumar, Bhuvi, Shammi & Aaron. Apart from Shammi, not a single bowler had an impressive start to their test career to term them as world class. Shammi looked fantastic with his reverse swings in his debut series and MS never dropped him till then. If this is not backing a bowler what is? Yes Umesh is little unfortunate but then again he didn't lit the world on fire either. We all criticized Dhoni for selecting Zak in NZ & SA and demanded fresh bloods. Unfortunately young guns didn't had a great outing in 1st warm up but we need to wait for our judgement. Dhoni never got a young pace bowler like Srinath that Azhar had, Young Zak or Pathan that Ganguly had, Young Ishant that Kumble had.

1) Dhoni even got RP in the team when he wanted to from nowhere. This is a player who got the entire selection panel removed when they wanted to drop him and you think he cannot get whom he wants and someone like Yadav would be dropped without him wanting to 2) What team is that and how much say do you did Dhoni does or does not have? Why do promising bowlers lose their way AFTER they come to the international team? Surely the team's job is till they are selected in the international team, after that it is the captain's and senior players' job to mentor them and use them wisely? 3) Because those are the strategies which have worked at home for him. He prefers strangling the opposition and having them lose wicket to innocuous part-timers. This also has the added advantage of people calling him awesome captain for bowling people like Joginder Sharma on a hunch. He is not the one to compromise on runs for wickets which attacking captains do. However, this strategy has never worked overseas 4) Blaming Dhoni for NOTHING is much worse than the blind Sachin fans who used to defend him and you used to hate them for the same reason.

stop being a blind hater.. if our fielding improved it doesnt mean our bowling will also improve. with better facilities we can improve our fielding , but not the case with bowling. dada had far more better batting lineup than anyone else in the history of indian batting. and dada had few half decent bowlers.. and having 100s of coaches mean nothing .. ask mumbai indians :hehe:

But when the bowlers fall away AFTER joining the international team, then people do see a pattern. There are many who dazzled in their first appearance in the team when they were raw and did what they wanted. However, after a few matches under captain cool, they lost their way. BK has completely altered his length and line and become a run saving bowler. Just one example When a board and a team starts earning untold money, it attracts more and more talent which it never had. If despite that, you are telling me one form of the game is completely bare, I will say it is not physically possible and goes completely beyond all logic. The easiest way to get into the Indian team today is be a bowler. Yet, what is broken? Even if some show spark, what happens after a few matches under Dhoni?
