For a nation that once produced people like Ashoka, Vikramaditya, Samudragupta, Rajaraja & Rajendra Chola, Mahipal & the rest, not to mention, people like Buddha, Mahavira, Adi Shakara, Chaitanya & Vivekananda, we sure have fallen a long way.

Shouldnt the system be for the people and not the other way around ? It seems as though, As long as you dont cross the society's accepted norms, there is no limit to how much wealth you can hoard. Dhirubhai on his own established a world class group of companies inspite of the major hurdles he had to face to government and the buerocracy. They employ almost 1 lakh people all over India & if you include the people who are indirectly employed by Reliance, that number swells to more than 7 lakhs. NOt to mention the 30 lakh shareholders of the reliance group who have benefitted immensly by investing in them.

You can make poor people rich by keeping the rich in check & not letting them do anything they want ala America.
