Zero_Unit Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 WTF that's so expensive. Is it just me or those bails where not used in the preliminary rounds? I don't think i spotted lights going on and off during the associates vs zim and bd.
jonas10 Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 50k Is a lot for a Pak player granted but you think a guy like Dhoni will even break a sweat if he really wants the stumps? drops a cool lakh..."for this time...for next time"
Jersey #10 Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 If 1 bail = 700$ That's $2800. That's not very expensive in the context of an international sport. This may eventually eliminate some of the cameras otherwise needed to see runouts/stumpings etc from different angles. If they can afford to have spider cams ... this should be peanuts. I am surprised that a lot of people mentioned the price of the bails. It's not like we're introducing it in the gully cricket.

Jersey #10 Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Bronte Eckermann, the inventor of the hi-tech stumps and bails with LEDs used in the World Twenty20, would not approve of bails being burnt to create a historic cricket contest http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/current/story/magazine/index.html What does that mean?

coffee_rules Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Shastri whenever there was a bowled dismissal would yell "Timber!". Now, imagine him going "Lights! or LEDs!".
Ram Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Looks very nice on TV, especially daylight matches! :nice:
