Switchblade Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 http://indianexpress.com/article/sports/cricket/cracks-showing-bcci-chips-off-n-srinivasan-owned-india-cements/ The BCCI on Sunday parted ways with its employees who are also on the rolls of India Cements or its associate companies. While the Indian cricket board had called back team logistic manager M A Satheesh, who was in Bangladesh for the T20 World Cup, Saturday for his India Cements connections, now IPL chief financial officer Prasanna Kannan has been removed from the BCCI fold. Others told to step aside till the Supreme Court’s final orders in the case on Sunday were P S Raman, a former Tamil Nadu public prosecutor and vice-president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) who is also Srinivasan’s lawyer and a legal consultant for the TNCA and BCCI; TNCA honorary secretary and member of several BCCI committees K S Viswanathan, who is a close aide of Srinivasan; and TNCA honorary secretary R I Palani, who is in the Indian board’s Zonal Academies Committee. The Supreme Court had asked the BCCI to weed out the India Cements employees within its ranks. N Srinivasan, who owns India Cements and IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings, had resigned as BCCI president as the court saw him as a hurdle in a free and fair probe of the IPL corruption scandal. BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel told The Indian Express, “We have implemented whatever the court asked us. Those who are with India Cements and with BCCI have been asked to stay away BCCI work.†However, players and commentators employed with India Cements can still be part of the BCCI as they have been exempted by the court. India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself is a vice-president of India Cements. The company also has Rahul Dravid on board.

Straight Drive Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 So the Supreme Courts ultimatum is being followed promptly.
rahulrulezz Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I find it disgusting when I see some blind Indian fans not understanding the concept of Conflict of interest and are blaming the Supreme Court... How the eff can Sreenivasan has half of his employees from Indian Cements in BCCI and IPL is just beyond me.... DISGUSTING
rajmarie Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Baap re...itne saare chamchas ko Srini mama ne BCCI main ghusher ke rakha tha.
BlackMamba Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Saala Srini, kya soch ke rakha tha ? Even Modi was not this bad. Hopefully this sends a strong notice to all the future BCCI guys, not to take BCCI for granted. Saala BCCI tera baap ka jaagir nahin hai. Personally I think, even Dhoni should be removed from Chennai. Ship him to some other team.
Ramzz Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Never knew Dravid was an Indian cement employee. This whole situation is strange. No wonder they are all quiet, not saying a word against what was happening.
