Mr. Wicket Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Big Aussie supporter when Aus doesn't play against India.. Yes, but Queensland? Sheesh, can't you pick a good, non-redneck (I'm kidding! - well, mostly) team like NSW, Vic, Tas, WA or SA? :P Still, a very impressive performance by the Bulls despite not having Hayden for this game. BTW, for a contrast - see how NSW thrashed the Bulls the other day and sent them on a giant leather hunt at Sydney... nice comparison to SL's bats.
Cricketics Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Queenland has aussies in it... hence supportin them.. not really a fan of them though.. Btw, admire nsw..and WA
Ram Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 The lankan batting without Sangakkara is not as strong as one might think. I still have major doubts over their openers.

Aussie team has Queenslanders in it. :D actually issue is not that sangakkara is missing in their team.. the thing is that lankanz are playing in Aus.. and getting the taste of how they would be treated and cooked in microwave when they play Aus in the following 2 tests.. SrI lankan bowling is their biggest strength. If the lankans get their batting together , they will be a serious threat.
