Jokes aside there should be media outcry against what ECB did with Farbrace. Unless SLC was not paying him his salary and paying him promptly.What ECB did was disgraceful, where does it end, there should be some sanctity for contract. Farbrace cannot walk out on one team and join another without any repercussions, ECB should be ashamed for poaching coaches. This nonsense of poaching players and coaches should stop. Where is British media outcry which was constantly crying foul against IPL and how it was destroying cricket. ECB was whining against IPL but keep poaching players and coaches from other sides.

Well it would have been nice if they snatched Farbrace after the England tour , they way they did it right before the English tour is highly unethical and disgusting. Where will it stop ? why can't some rich country buy all the coaches from other top countries just before the world cup? just a thought for BCCI.. Anyway no big deal ,he was no miracle worker to win two titles in 3 months , just lucky to be at the right place at the right time.

Agree with the point about ethics. About BCCI , well this is an argument for some place. Let's not derail this thread, otherwise I will get blamed for that too.

There are contracts in place even for corporate executive jobs. But as long as they pay the penalty money, they can break contracts. These are civil contracts. Ofcourse doesn't "look nice", but this is real world dealings.
