And they keep coming !! Now BJP MP Hema Malini who herself might not have any kind of relations with Mathura but prohibits widows of Bihar and Bengal from coming to Mathura. Widows from Bihar, West Bengal should not come to Vrindavan: Hema Malini http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/hema-malini-widows-bihar-west-bengal-vrindavan/1/383352.html We may have to create a new forum to absorb daily dose of idiocy that keeps coming from NDA ministers and MPs.
Looks like their entire contingent is having some side effects from the excess Uric acid in their antidote to love jihad......drumroll.......gaumutra. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/hjs-website-prescribes-gaumutra-therapy-salt-water-baths-to-counter-love-jihad/articleshow/42758057.cms

Congress slams Gujarat govt for depicting Arunachal, Jammu & Kashmir as disputed territory
NEW DELHI: The Congress on Monday lashed out at the Gujarat government for projecting Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir as disputed regions in a map circulated during the signing of memorandums with China September 17. Addressing the media, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said the map showed Aksai Chin as part of China while Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir were shown in dotted lines, implying disputed regions. "This is a very serious matter because the goof-up took place in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he said. Demanding an explanation from the government, Singhvi also attacked Modi. "Before the elections, he (Modi) talked about not letting the country down. I would now ask him to walk the talk," he said. "Don't humiliate the country," he added. Three agreements were signed in the presence of Modi and visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping in Ahmedabad September 17. One was for an industrial park in Gujarat and another for a sister city. The third was between the governments of Gujarat and a Chinese province.

hmm its a bit worrying that shah is snapping alliances. HJC now the sena. Is the SAD going to have its ties snapped close to election time?

It's not Shah who is snapping. What can he do when the other parties are getting a bit greedy and opportunistic.

I think it is intentional. The Atal-Advani era was characterized by building alliances and taking on as many partners as possible and accommodating them in the grand scheme of things. While that worked in those days, it also ended up weakening the party in many states where allies took up a bigger role. I think what Modi-Shah are trying to do now is to let the party expand its roots and play a bigger role in state politics. It is a gamble considering that if it doesn't work, they're not just in the opposition, but have also strained long-standing relations. But if it does work, they are not left to the mercy of their allies and can truly become a big contender in many states where they have been a small-time player so far.

Shiv Sena demanding 150 seats can hardly be considered as greedy and opportunistic. 5 years ago, Sena-BJP were the only 2 parties in their alliance. BJP brought in few more parties. Now, Sena conceded some seats that it contested the last time to accommodate the new parties such that BJP contest the same number as it had 5 years ago. Sena on its part honored the old formula of allocating more seats to BJP in the Lok Sabha elections and expect BJP to honor the same now. If you consider their perspective, then they are right in their own way. Now, here's the big catch. BJP believes that it is now more popular than Sena in the state and hence deserves at least an even number of seats. They might be justified in their beliefs because of the overwhelming results they got in the Lok Sabha elections. I think overall it is good that all parties are contesting individually. That way, at least they can gauge how much support they really have. Nobody really knows that yet.

Genuine question. When fighting independently all the opinion polls etc. are favoring BJP to win more seats than Sena, same is the case when BJP is fighting 130 and Sena 150. So on what grounds can Sena demand 150 for themselves ? Or am I missing on some dynamics of this alliance ?

the point is that sometimes the sena are in the ascendancy and sometimes the bjp are in the ascendancy. These things ebb and flow. Even if the bjp win there are going to be major headaches who the CM is going to be? The command structure of the BJP makes the line of succession a major doubt. For all we know just like karnataka infighting might bring the BJP down 5 years down the line despite a win in 2014. If i am a prospective ally of the BJP, i have to think twice when dealing with Shah. They might get a CM seat in Maharashtra but coalition politics they are going to suffer all over India. Now the HJC being dumped was the right choice. Your talking about a recent alliance and the HJC bombed in recent elections. You look at the sena and they won 18 out of 20 seats. Thats a very good strike rate. Yes there was a Namo wave but the sena capitalized on it. Jd(u) Sena HJC for whatever reasons, it seems the BJP cant get along with what are seen as equal allies within the state. JD(u) obviously broke the band rather than the BJP. But the BJP need to be wary about the way they expand. Advani i think gave too much to allies. Shah i feel is giving too little. There needs to be a middle ground. I do hope the BJP stick with the SAD regardless of what happens. Sometimes its wiser to prove your loyalty than simply look for the win. The BJP is hopefully going to be around a long time after Modi.

New Channel's reporting, D P yadav was spotted with Amit Shah on stage. But looking at their chequered past relatively, shouldn't it have been Amit Shah spotted with D P yadav.

Each tweet from Narendra Modi's account is sent only after he reviews it personally. Harshvardhan composes tweets by himself.
