kablooee87
The ultimate insult to the batsman. They've given him the entire field in front of the wicket and even behind the wicket on the on side. Link to comment

Ram
Is it a co-incidence that on both the occasions , it was the Aussies. :D Link to comment
observer1
I recognise Lillee and Marsh - any idea of what game it was? And the ODI - is it Gilchrist as wk and Warne at first slip? Possibly McGrath bowling? Link to comment

bharat297
the ODI was not in the world cup 03 it was back in 1999, when steve waugh was the captain ... i actually remember the game , it was in zimbabwe ... zimbabwe were like 9/90 or something at the time ... and waugh moved everyone to the slips ... fleming was the bowler ... ironically the last wicket came from the batsman getting bowled ... off martyn or maybe symonds i think Link to comment
Dooks
I have seen these before but good nonetheless. Is it Botham facing Lililee in the first picture? Now we need to do this against pak when Bhajji comes on to bowl. :D Link to comment
Tapioca
I have seen these before but good nonetheless. Is it Botham facing Lililee in the first picture? The bowler in Lillee. The batsman is a New Zealander (Bev Congdon or somebody) and it is a NZ v Aus Test from 1976/77 series. The rumour is that Greg Chappell was writing a book at that point of time and wanted a spectacular photo for the cover - so he did this. Now we need to do this against pak when Bhajji comes on to bowl. :D That should be more like this ==> Link to comment
apocalypse
There was one instance like this when Moin Khan was batting against Australia Link to comment

Did he really think of doing it? Wow - but he was a sneaky so and so. BTW: where is that picture from? Link to comment
Lurker
So where is the above picture from? WE should definitely try something like this. That is Derek Underwood. If i am not mistaken the game is this http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63027.html It was kinda battle against time, with rains and fading light and Underwood is considered by many to be the deadliest bowler when the pitch was wet. See how many players you can indentify. I could pick Underwood, Knott, Edrich, Illingworth, Graveney and of course Colin Milburn(the ample lad at short square leg). By the way I also thought that it was actually Ian Botham facing upto Lillee! Thanks to Tapioca for pointing out it was Bevon Congdon. Strange though cos I always thought Congdon to be a fairly decent bat, then again Botham was too. Link to comment
