But more importantly, these two guys need to understand that millions of kids are actually watching these games. Btw, how is Starc fined a lesser amount than Pollard? He's the one who started the whole damn thing. He mouthed off Pollard first. He then tried to hit Pollard with a projectile hurled at 90 mph. What is Pollard supposed to do? Just stand there and take body blows? I never understood the concept of handing out similar punishments for both the provoked and the provocateur. If am playing casual cricket and I walk away before the ball is bowled and the bowler follows me and nearly hits me, I will be pissed too. At a minimum, we are going to have a very heated discussion.

So much for Gavaskar taking bullshit at the start of this IPL...where he mentioned how IPL needs to get clean & focus on Cricket. Its clear that same shady business will continue in IPL whether its Modi/Srini/Gavaskar in charge.
