undisputed chap Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 which young pace allrounders caught your eye & have high hopes of. Th ones ies I like in no prticular order are: James faulkner: A very intelligent bowlers & hard hitting batsman. Ben Stokes : the find of winter ashes . only Englishman to score a century & also took a five wicket hall. Wayne Parnell : Ability to bowl a 145+ & capable of biffing 30-35 runs for his side. Anjelo Mathews : A consistent performer for Sl & their captain. Thisara Parera : Decent loi bowlers w & capable of hitting sixes at will.
keith Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Jimmy Neesham is a better bowler than Corey Anderson. I hope to eventually see them both as regular fixtures in the NZ test side, with Corey as the batting allrounder at 6 and Neesham as the bowling allrounder at 8. Stokes is without doubt the most complete young allrounder going around at the moment. Has performed with both bat and ball.

Dont know how he will bowl in subcontinent though.
undisputed chap Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 I like stokes a lot he'll do well as a fourth pacer in eng conditions . Also a gritty batsman . Needs to be nurtured carefully though.Give him a fixed role & don't make a irfan pathan out of him ecb

His technique with bat looked good. Ifran technique never looked good always felt he was slogging.
