What this election has shown is ADMK vote share is stronger than DMK and DMK cant take on ADMK without allies. Lol at stalin power.

They left PMK in Dharmapuri too during the assembly elections earlier. Wont be surprised if PMK tries these tactics more parts of western TN like Chidambaram , Salem etc.Thats why its not good for TN tbh, Anbumani isn't bad leader. He might get some mundane sub ministry in cabinet.

Many senior leaders are in the party for the respect of Karuna. Karuna thinks that the DMK vote bank will stay, like Jaya got MGR's vote in the past, which isn't true. DMK might get some sympathy from people after Karuna's death and fetch few seats, but no one votes for Stalin.

They don't carry the historical baggage of mgr or karuna. Jaya succeeded in making a brand bigger than mgr, while Dmk just can't get past karuna. Good for jaya. I like her as an administrator really well.

I doubt Trinamool will ever win anything in TN and AIADMK will never win in WB. Even Patnaik can join them for good measure.

DMK dont depend on brand though unlike ADMK which depends solely on the charisma of Jaya but DMK has strong internal leaders and party structure to survive.Their issue is subserving the likes of Balu Raja Kanimozhi etc

Cong will be the largest opposition party hence they should have the opposition leader. Minimum 10% of total seats needed by 1 party to declare their leader as leader.of opposition.In history of India only once in 1984 did the Lok Sabha had no leader of opposition.
