Detonator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I am not joking AMMA and Didi should combine parties and become leaders of opposition. It will give them the limelight they crave. I doubt Trinamool will ever win anything in TN and AIADMK will never win in WB. Even Patnaik can join them for good measure. It's a good thing , but Jaya and Mamta are too self centred, they don't care abt a coalition until it's too late. Which is why they are very unstable partners
SLICKR392 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 LOL! That Congress spokesperson is asking Arnab to wait until EC announces the result.
helperononline Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 now that modi has won two seat if he resigns from any one of these seats is it possible for kejriwal or arun jaitley to contest and make comeback
Precambrian Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 DMK dont depend on brand though unlike ADMK which depends solely on the charisma of Jaya but DMK has strong internal leaders and party structure to survive.Their issue is subserving the likes of Balu Raja Kanimozhi etc So DMK has a good party base, and doesnt depend on brand or charisma. Yes but the FACT is they landed exactly ZERO seats this time. Jayalalitha has been in power in TN for 3 years now, and if results are anything to go by, she is actually improving and consolidating her position. So where is this anti incumbency? Where is DMK's internal leaders and party structure hiding and not pointing out the issues with her governance and utilizing the anti incumbency to their benefit? I completely agree AIADMK is dependent on Jaya. Heck it starts with J and ends with A. But politics is not about 20-25 yrs from now, it is the art of performing now. Jaya is exactly doing that.

Kejriwal lol! I think Smrithi Irani will be given a chance, because she took on the bigwig and yet lasted the race.
Detonator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 A.Raja gave 1000 per vote and still lost lol I think DMK gave liquor and ADMK gave money. Voters took the liquor, bought sidedish with the money and voted by inky pinky ponky.

Also DMK's average age of leaders is like 75.
Detonator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 UPA 55 with Congress 43  now the whole UP coalition dangling wiith 10%
Sachin=GOD Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 FirstBiz @FirstpostBiz 5m Milind Deora, Priya Dutt, Praful Patel lose battles in Mumbai South, Mumbai North Central and Bhandara-Gondiya respectively #verdict2014

Last LS elections DMK won 27 seats despite being in power mainly becoz the opposition was divided. But DMK were routed in Assembly polls becoz Jaya swallowed her Ego and put together a strong alliance. One would expect DMK to get a much stronger alliance in Assembly polls .So her bigger test is the assembly elections.

Rotating Potato Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 i am starting to dislike the people of my state. why the feck TMC? that fat old lady is not about poriborton, she's about protishodh.

There is no third option like Moopanaar, Ramdoss and vaiko are weak now, no body takes gaptan seriously and congress is losing deposits here. Only thing that surprised me is a decent increase in BJP vote share. So things will be interesting
