Looks like all this hoopla with CSK cause meyappan predicted team will score 140 and they scored 141 (or vice-versa). So any player who got out at a questionable time or played slowly/aggressively/helped with getting to the 140 score is a match fixer. Now that is what I referred to as witch hunting.

The report also claimed that a top television commentator's name featured in the list. The report said: 'dna has reliably learnt that at least eight players and a leading commentator are on that list.' [sic] The report added that another player who was also involved in the match-fixing saga went unsold in the auctions that took place in February, this year and that he had played in the Indian Premier League for the first six seasons. There have been various reports claiming to know the contents of the sealed envelope, or at least the gist of it. It was initially speculated that the envelope contained a list of six tainted players, including at least two current India players, but the Indian Express said it has reasons to believe that the number of people under the scanner was more than double what was initially suspected. With no definite evidence supporting any claim, many players and franchises will tread with trepidation and it will be interesting to see what unfolds. My guess: Ravi Shastri and Badrinath :--D

He did not bet' date=' he did not fix. [b']All he is accused of is trying to shield his SIL and lying about his role in his franchise. Big fecking deal as if that is the worst crime in the country which requires the SC of India to waste it's precious time on. Even if this was all he was guilty of, it is a huge deal. You simply cannot have someone in charge of an organisation with a) a conflict of interest and b) the audacity to then lie about it. Lying about anything cricket-related is a terminable offence to anyone involved in the management of cricket. Had he claimed that Dhoni had eaten 3 bananas for lunch rather than 2, he should be sacked.
