Rest of North East needs serious infra development, if BJP can deliver on that, perhaps they can start making inroads there. here is how I see it going in the next couple of years: J&K - alliance with PDP Bihar - BJP Jharkhand - BJP WB - governor's rule TN - governor's rule Assam - BJP Kar - BJP Uttarakhand - who cares. Congress mukt bharat project is still on track. most important thing is cash coffers of congress will be dwindling. rahul is joker, priyanka carries baggage of vadra, so some regional leader will have to take over, which is not going to make a difference. gandhi family will certainly go bye bye if not congress.

People don't realize how big this is. This result could possibly (infact it certainly will) push muslims to spring up their own parties in states with significant muslims populations. Which is basically a precursor to call for separate electorate (as with AIML in the 30s). Muslims are starting to lose faith in the so called "secular" parties. "Communal Harmony" is about to go for a toss.

Current rise of BJP is a permanent. Infact, if the 2 buddhas had any sense, the rise of BJP would have been complete with a reelection in 2004. Their shortsightedness cost India 10 years.
