He was the CM in Guj so first he should take action against himself then talk of others :agree:

shows how much respect AAPies have for Indian judiciary :hatsoff:
Respecting Indian judiciary doesnt mean accepting all its verdicts as truth.AFAIK He was given clean chit on a technicality. No direct evidence was against him but there were more than enough circumstantial ones. I am not an AAP supporter but even if I was its much better than supporting a man who presided over the biggest riots and didnt have morality to resign. But then he had to stay in power to remove all direct evidences against him Anyway, hes chosen now.Hoping he does well and fulfils his promises :nice: I am not much well versed in this matter so pardon my ignorane if any.Getting out from this thread :icflove:

no evidence was found that involved his actions in aiding and abetting rioters. presiding over riots when he was just two months in office as CM. he did his best to control riots, called in Army ASAP and also requested state forces from neighboring states. coincidentally, it was only MP which didn't send him forces, because Digvijay was in power at the time. in a state like Gujarat, where hindu-muslim relations have always been on a potboiler, its not easy to control riots. if you look at gujarat's history, even before independence, it's filled with riots. after independence, two of the biggest riots in India's history happened in Gujarat, the 1969 and 1985 Ahmedabad riots. Curfew was a common sight in Gujarati life, which thankfully changed after Modi came, so I would request you to at least know the background and context of the riots. btw, he did offer his resignation but party high command rejected it. hope your day goes well :icflove:

As I said my knowledge is very limited. So I'm hoping he was actually innocent or if he wasnt he meets natural justice(karma).I'd wish that for everyone :nice:

These are cases registered by TN govt for protesting against Nuclear Power plant in Kudankulam. SC has ordered these cases to be withdrawn but TN govt is still dragging on
yup, similar to the frivolous cases against most of the MPs mentioned by the op.

u called him a murderer.see its easy to call anyone as a murderer, hitler, communal etc just because a certain section of society/media made that perception.i say 1st get to know the roots of the issue and try to form an opinion by urself without anyone's influence. by the way i assume u voted for aap in punjab and its good that they got 4 seats but do try to know how the aap works,is it really an issue based party or an agenda based party? its not as clean as many people think be it their stand on kashmir, naxal sympathiser etc

I had made my opinion based on my readings on the internet etc. They may be biased, but I doubt they'd distort facts severely. Anyway I may not be sure about him,but people have made their decision and I respect that fully.Hopefully he justifies the faith put in to him by people :two_thumbs_up: lol at any criticism of Modi being linked to support for AAP :cantstop: My constituency is Chandigarh and I didnt vote for AAP:giggle:

They are activists.. same for lot of BJP leaders always get one or other case slapped against them because of protests/comments. Serious crimes is what should be taken care...
How does the Lok Sabha fare on that aspect?
