Linux_Mj
And he wants to retire Wtf HE told that if he can't play next WC there is no need to play ODI anymore. :(( then SL can replace a player & nearly 3 years to make him a better player. that's y he want to retire. :hatsoff: Link to comment
StriKe
:hatsoff: SL doesn't have players to replace Sanga,Dilshan and Jaya. Tough time ahead for their team after WC15. Link to comment
putrevus
Thats the way a legend should go right on top , rather than some who were just hanging on for personal milestones. Link to comment

BlueBee
Kohli > Sanga He don't have 650+ runs in a series in Aus :beee: Link to comment
putrevus
Why go when you can still contribute way more than what your replacement will?To preserve your average? How unselfish You know any lamp before it goes out shines the brightest, it is a mistake to think that brightness is going to last long. What is point in playing odis when you are not going to last to play any big tournaments thats why he is going at the right time. It gives his replacements enough time to get their footing, thats why a world cup ends lot of careers because it ends one cycle and starts a fresh one. Link to comment
ThePhenomenal1
good on sanga, albeit vs minnows but good stuff. retire on a high Link to comment
bowl_out
Good show even if it was against minnows mostly... Let's see if he can do this against SA, NZ and Aus (their next three matches if they go all the way) Link to comment
Marut
Sanga has fixed a few blotches in his ODI career in the recent years. He will not be regarded among the best ODI players due to his strike rates, but he will be up there. Link to comment
