Vilander Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Isn't it strange that lot of Indians watch EPL, champions league but don't watch their own soccer what kind of football fans these people are? ISL on the way..cant wait.
Lord Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Isn't it strange that lot of Indians watch EPL, champions league but don't watch their own soccer what kind of football fans these people are? If the quality is in the same ball park and its marketed well,I'm sure most will watch
Vilander Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I'm not getting this :// Why are you guys discussing this old 50s WC. Let it go ! read this and understand. For: If india played and did well when they were invited --> there could have been a chain effect --- and indian football could have been atleast be an also ran like Indian hockey if not like indian cricket --- but now Indian football is non existant. Counter: No its not valuable money in football is in club leagues, indian league is poor so indian football is poor so if club game is improved fifa rankign will improve eventually.
Debutant Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Isn't it strange that lot of Indians watch EPL, champions league but don't watch their own soccer what kind of football fans these people are? Why is it strange. There is a gulf of difference between the quality of EPL or La Liga compared to I League. Even the broadcast is pathetic.
adi B Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Isn't it strange that lot of Indians watch EPL, champions league but don't watch their own soccer what kind of football fans these people are? why is it strange? the quality of I-league is sh1t,almost similar to how we play in our parks. its like a budding dutch or ugandan cricket fan watching ipl or bigbash because of the superior quality of cricket and star players rather their own domestic matches.
Sonix768 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 And even more impressive is that we did this after a thrilling qualification campaign If you can call qualifying without playing a single qualification match because the rest (Burma, the Philippines and Indonesia) were withdrawn, "thrilling qualification campaign"
